These threads are always dangerous to my wallet :D but I am just so excited! As some of you may know, I seriously lack for heritage photos... my mother's childhood home blew up when she was 8, taking all of my grandmother and grandfathers photos with them from her early years and my father's estranged sister took many of his family photos with her as well...

But through the networking of facebook, I have found my way into oodles and oodles of heritage photos! From the late 1800's- my great grandparents, my grandparents in their early married years, photos of my mom as a kid... its like a scrappers treasure!

So I have decided to put together albums for my family- but I have practically 0 in the way of heritage style supplies... What are your favorites? I am thinking of 2 kits or kits with scrapsimple add-ons or something along that line.

Oh Kim Lucky you!! I think more than anything IMO the photo speaks for itself and you can always grey scale any kit you have (not to say you should not buy anything) I am saying you can make any kit you have old already with sepia black and white and all those fun things ps and cs have to offer. Good luck and have fun!!

Kim, what a found treasure for you! You must be so very excited. Narrowing down to one or two collections is just about impossible for me, but I think if you start looking at Kerry Veale's and Paula Wrights collections I bet youll get a good feel for heritage-type stuff. There are tons of others too. this calls for some serious boutique browsing.

How exciting to have found those photos! You have had some good suggestions here. I have used Brandy Hackmans Persian Breeze for heritage layouts, Brandy Murry's Ephemera, Persimmon Collection. I have also used Red Lily by Ursula for a Heritage Layout, and Scenic Route too. Can't wait to see what you pick out!

Congratulations on finding photos, you must be giddy! :) I'm giddy for you!!
I like a muted but colorful approach to heritage photos...almost ANYTHING Brandy Hackman works really well, lol, but my favs from her are Persian Breeze, A Little Worn Out, Stylize
Brandy Murry City Park, Ephemera, Potpourri (feminine, obviously)
Angie Briggs Scenic Route, Sweet Words, Urban Love
Amanda Sok A Man's Life, Alluring Autumn, Appassionata, Nostalgia, Sea Glass
Durin Eberhart Character, Mixed Media, Vista Linda
Diane Miller Cozy
Erica Hite Bookworm, Chic Embroidery 1 and 2, Enchanted (various pieces that coordinate), Family Ties, Love Always, Antiqued Photo Frames, Up at the Villa
Keri Schueller ...almost everything she has done, seriously;) :) Beaute Botanique, Apothecary Labels, Holiday Time, Passage (postage), Patternologie, Vintage Nursery
Melissa Renfro Well Loved
Paula Wright Ancestry
Syndee Nuckles Cinnamon Suede, Noteworthy, French Market, Learning Curve, Yesterday's Child
Shalae Tippetts Hearth
Thao Cosgrove Earthen Vessel, Haven
Valerie Randall Journaling Paper 2, Wrought Iron

Phew:) Have FUN!!! I LOVE heritage pages. Darnit, I need to get back at it too.
