Hi. I am a very new user and a little overwhelmed with everything. I am using PSE8 Mac and downloaded some wonderful sparkle trails this morning. But they don't sparkle! They look like black globs. How/where do I change them into loverly glitter?? I am having the same problem with the Rhinestones I downloaded. Can't make them sparkle and can't change their color. I have 3 little princesses so this is a very important matter!!

The easiest way to make them sparkle is to apply a style to them. Styles are in the artwork and effects area of the Photoshop program. I use PSE5, but there should be a similar place in PSE8. All of the glitter I have I purchased from the Scrap Girls boutique. I don't think PSE has any glitter. If you go to the boutique and put "glitter" in the search box, I'm sure you find all the glitter styles you can imagine! Directions are included with your purchase to help you install and use.

Hi. Definitely apply a glitter style to the sparkle trail. It will look great that way.
I had to figure out the dynamic rhinestones a while back. I posted a thread about how I figured out what to do...let me go find it.
Here it is: rhinestone thread. There's an example shot there, too.

You probably downloaded some sparkle trail brushs tips which are
used with the brush tool.
Brushs are greyscale or white &black,
They have no color.
When you use the brush tool you choose your brush tip,brush size and
color before you stamp the brush on your lo.

You can also add real rhinestones,jewels,glitter to your lo
after you have the page printed out.
