Join Angela (angelaNussbaum) and me (Becca) this morning at 9am MT for a Coffee Break Scraplift Chat! Let's start off Digital Scrapbooking Day right!

So, what is scraplifting?
Scraplifting is when you use a specific layout to inspire you. You can follow the entire layout or you can take one thing (like the text, or positioning of flowers) and lift that.

Is scraplifting bad?
No! BUT you must remember to give the other layout or designer credit. The best way to do that here at Scrap Girls is to add a link to their layout in the area where you list your products used, and to say who they are.

Today's challenge is a little different than what we usually do. We're not going to give you a specific person to scraplift. This time, in honor of DSD, we want you to find layouts that are very "digital" in design to scraplift. They can be a SG Team Member's or not.

I did something this morning - while I was having my morning coffee. I may not be able to make the chat. By that time for me, it's not much morning any more! I'll try.

This is not as "digi" as some of the others, but I did do some blending and OOB. I was inspired by Janine's Proverbs 3 - but I used it as sort of a prayer for my son and his SO.

My lift was not successful... but this what I did ... I just loaded it in the club gallery cuz I don't think I really lifted it. I just couldn't find the right photo to lift Kim's The Grass I will try again! Also, I left for my bible study last night thinking I will load it to the gallery after I come back ...and when I got back my internet was acting up and could not figure out what was wrong with it in time ... Thankful I got something done since I wasn't able to put anything together in a week so I won't get a prize but got some inspiration... thanks

This is my first attempt to lift Kim's ...lol I wasn't sure I wanted upload it or not, but here it is... and I am asking for cc on it. I used texture and a distressed brush from PSPx2. It looks too simple so I'm not sure ... thanks for taking the time to look.
