I think it would be great if we had a Wish List "area" to put items in that we like as we are browsing. When we're ready to make a purchase we could click on any wish list items that we'd like to move into our basket for check-out. This way we don't lose track of those items that we've seen and like but aren't yet ready to purchase. Just a thought.....I have to pace myself you know.

Do we already have something like that and I've missed it?

I would love this too. Occasionally I go through the whole boutique and write down what I want (I mean NEED!!), and then lose the paper amongst all my clutter. I am even thinking of making a special binder - a wish list would be a lot easier tho!!!!

Not only a wish list area, but a list of items we already bought! That would be wonderful also!

I don't know about a wish list, but I know you can put things in your shopping cart without buying it. The next time you check in, your shopping cart will have what you previously put in it. That might help a little. And I think you can look up your previous orders by going to your account. I'm thinking it is 6 months of sales that are kept. You can print this out for yourself every few months, and then you would have a record for yourself.

Am I right about that, Ro?

Yes, we can leave items in our shopping cart but then if you don't want to buy everything all at once you have to remove the items - so you lose them and you have to go find them again. ;)

By the way, I've been pushing Modular Merchant to add this for us for a year now. I've even entered a support ticket with customer comments. It just keeps getting pushed down their enormous development list, but they have told me that it will be done as soon as possible.

They are just like me, though, growing like crazy and having trouble getting everything done!

Ahhh, a development issue - we'll wait patiently for the upgrade. I deal with this all the time at work, why don't they realize that the upgrade I WANT is the most important and needs to be moved to the top?!

As far as wish losts and keeping track of purchases you've already made, this is what I do.

For my wish list, I keep a text file where I put the name of the collection and it's designer, that text file I have named My ScrapGirls Wish List, in the same folder I also keep another text file with all the names of the items I've already purchased and the designers names, and I have that file named as My ScrapGirls Purchases. These files I can easily open as I'm going through the boutique and by keeping the text file with my wish list, I can just type in the name and see the preview etc to help me figure out in which oder I want to get the items. Helps me keep a bit more track on all the purchases I've made and is extremely helpful in figuring out which kits I have yet to get, :). Just an idea I had so thought I would share it, :).

To have a friend is to have a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold and an extra pair of legs when yours are too weak to stand alone...

I have been living buried in books and writing classes... as an added note I must say that it is rather scary when you start dreaming and all you can see within your dreams is words floating everywhere!

Ah, Jemmia.... You do want me to work hard, don't you?

We have that What's New? section, but I have to personally move things in and out of there.

It's up at the top of the list. I clean it out about once a month. It's about as often as I can get to it but, truthfully, we have so many brand new people coming on in the past few months that everything is new to them! (Sorry that my little fingers can't fly faster!... But this conversation does remind me that I haven't cleaned it out this month. LOL)

This is also something that I have asked for... I want them to look at the date stamp of the new product and then show a little "NEW" graphic by it for a couple of weeks. Sigh...

Oh the trials of being our support team. You could NOT believe how long my own personal development wish list is for these guys! LOL

They have to prioritize, as you can imagine. But I have a couple of things up my sleeve that I am even willing to PAY them to develop for us (way more fun than these things), but I have to keep my lips zipped until they happen, as I have no idea when they will occur.

Hi, I saw your post and this is what I do.

I go SHopping! Pretend shopping that is and add everything I want to my shopping basket. then...

I open a Word document.

I copy my entire shopping basket and paste it into WORD.

I save my word file. I can change or add to it anytime I want.

I actually have these WORD documents for all of my favorite online stores stored in my "WISHES" file on my computer.

It helps me plan my finances (especially since I only get paid once a month)
