Who Can Tell Me About Blurb Books Compared To Shutterfly Books

I have loved Shutterfly 12 x 12 and 8 x 8 hardbound books. I recently heard about blurb making 12 x 12 with full bleed hard cover books. They also have a choice of premium or standard paper. Once person told me that they really like the quality of the blurb printing pages better than shutterfly's. I want to know if any of you have used both and could give a good opinion on the blurb compared to shutterfly.

Thanks,

Question About Windows 7

Has anyone put Windows 7 on their computer yet? If you did, which method did you use....clean wipe, or just an upgrade? I really hate to have everything wiped off my computer and have to start and reload everything again. :-(

If you have it on....has all the bugs been worked out of it? Does it really work better? Does it work ok with PSE 7 & 8 and PSP 12?

Any suggestions if you have it?

November 2009 Message Board Game

We're taking your ABC game skills to a whole new level this month... and tacking on some prizes as well! This month's message board game is The Alphabet Hunt. Every few days we'll give you a theme and a searching task and then set you loose to start building our list in alphabetic order!

This week's theme is: FALL. Your task is to find and attach photos representing fall and add them to this thread in ABC order.

A few rules:

* When posting photos, please resize them to no larger than 250 pixels by 250 pixels and keep the file size as low as possible.
* In your post type the letter you're on and the alphabetic word about your picture that qualifies it for the list. (ie A is for April Fools and your photo is of an April Fool's joke in action)
* You may not post twice in a row, but as long as one other person has posted to the list, you can jump back in and post again.
* Keep the ABC order sequence intact. Don't post photos/letters out of ABC order.
* There will be NO duplicating letters allowed, so if someone else plays the same letter while you're still typing/attaching a photo, the first person who posted for the letter will get the credit and their name in the drawing for that specific letter.
* When we've reached letter Z we'll start back at A and continue going until the next theme is announced.
* It's not necessary for you to keep track of what words have been played. It's okay if we have duplicated words as we cycle through the alphabet several times as long as the photos for those words are different. (ie each time we cycle through the ABCs the photo for L can be leaves as long as each photo played is different)
* For the letter X you can use photos representing words that have the X sound as in 'Exit' or a photo that shows things crossed in an 'X' shape.

We'll post new themes and searching tasks every few days. Those posts will be bold and in purple for easy locating in the thread.

For each item you correctly add to our alphabetic list in this thread, your name will be entered into a drawing which will be held at the end of the month. Five winners will be drawn and each will win a $5 gift certificate to the Scrap Girls boutique! Additionally, the person with the most correct contributions to the game will automatically win a $10 gift certificate to the Scrap Girls boutique! Participation is what counts big this month, so join us for LOTS of fun!

Magic Elves

Last year my kids wrote a letter to Santa asking for a magic Elf after catching wind of the idea from their friends. Apparently if you put out crackers and water, and write a nice letter to Santa, put it under the tree he just might bring you a magic elf! (The elf is supposed to keep track of you, reporting back to Santa if you've been good!) My kids did this and they woke up Dec. 1st to find two elves, "Happy" and "Jolly" under the tree! Those elves were so mischevious, doing silly things like climbing on the chandelier, bringing small goodies for the kids and getting into the crackers in the pantry when they were not given any before bed!

They are so anxious to see if the elves return again this year! Does anyone else have magic elves that visit their home?

Just wondering if there is a way to save interesting posts to a favorite list? Sometimes I come across interesting posts with an explanation how do to something but at the time of reading I can't practice it. And sometimes days or weeks pass by before I can actually practice. I'm wondering that there is such an option to save the posts to my favorite list so I can retrieve them quickly when I'm ready to practice?
