Join Katherine Weaver for this four-session class covering dodge and burn techniques. This in-depth digital scrapbooking class on dodging and burning is the perfect opportunity to learn about traditional & contemporary techniques for strengthening and enhancing highlights and shadows within your photos. Using various methods, this class will teach you how to dodge and burn for contrast and depth. In this class you will learn:

•How to dodge and burn both traditionally and non-destructively.
•How to use custom vignettes for direct focus & increased contrast.
•How to redirect the focus for color & monochrome images.
•How to improve image contrast with curves and selective dodging and burning.
•How to use the sponge tool for saturating washed out photos.
•How to decide which color images will become great black-and-white photos.
•How to sharpen photos for greater contrast and depth.
